NIFAA: National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists
NIFAA, the social, art and cultural based organization came into existence in September, 2000 with the aim to mark a change for betterment and to perform various welfare activities. At the elementary level, it was set up as a non-governmental social organization and it was flagged up as the National Institute of Fine Arts Samiti. This organization was created by a prominent social activist, Mr. Pritpal Singh Pannu. It was soon after renamed as the National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists i.e. NIFAA

NIFAA has found its niche in conducting various awareness activities in preventing social ills such as HIV AIDS, Drug Addiction, Female Feticide and Dowry Deterrence, has been working towards the betterment of weaker sections of the society, promotion of patriotic love and national integration, promotion of Indian folk arts and culture, environment safety programs, women empowerment and child welfare, adventure excursions and especially cultural based activities. NIFAA is well acknowledged by the community who enthusiastically participates in NIFAA's programmes.
NIFAA has been classified under two wings i.e. artists wing and the second is activists wing. The former wing is engaged in promotion of Indian cultural activities and also coordinates with the artists from various countries and sets a sturdy precedent to save the cultural heritage of India. The latter wing plays the vital role of an active agent in initiating firm locus standing progress in the society.
NIFAA was adjudged as best youth organization of the country by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India & was honoured with National Youth Award. Apart from various other National and International level awards and accolades, NIFAA has achieved Six Guinness World Records for achievements of social awareness in the field of gender equality, world peace, nuclear weapons free world, AIDS awareness, Promotion of Kathak and Health. In its social and cultural endeavours NIFAA has got support from various prominent international and national level organizations like Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India, International AIDS Society, Japan Information Center (Embassy of Japan), Japan Foundation, Ministry of Art & Culture Mauritius, Global Organization of People of Indian Origin, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangthan, Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Haryana State AIDS Control Society, Various reputed Universities and NGO's With branches in 27 states/UTs of India and more than 5000 active youth volunteers on role, NIFAA team is consistently marching towards formation of a better society and peaceful world.
